Marina ~ AS-280

Open 7 days a week from 0800 – 1830.  Situated along the scenic shores of Morgan Bay and Southwest Creak on a 64 – acre complex, home to a full service Marina with 79 slips, dry storage area, gasoline sales, a small retail store, camp sites, swimming/fishing, sailing and nature trails.  Six picnic areas, three covered Pavilions, and an Indoor Party Room.  Many items available for issue or rent.  Details call 449-6578.

New River ATA Taekwondo Academy

Open to families of Active Duty, Retirees’ and authorized civilian employees & guests.

      Mr. Thieme is a 4^th Degree Black Belt, Certified Instructor, National tournament judge.   Mrs. Thieme is a 2 Degree Black Belt, Certified Instructor and Regional tournament judge.  Their competition accomplishments include 12 State and National Championship

Titles in Sparring, Weapons and Form.  Their combined 25-year teaching resume includes training 6 of his male and female adult students to reach the World Championship level of competition.  Dozens of their younger students have earned State Championships.  They have also trained numerous students to become Black Belt Instructors in the Marines, Army, Navy and Air Force.

      A Marine Family teaching Marine Families for over 20 years with location in: MCAS New River, Camp Pendleton, Quantico & 29 Palms.

Before and After School Childcare Registration (AS-1000)

Ages 5-12 or starting Kindergarten.  Registration fee: $25, please bring: Current LES/pay stubs, Current Shot Record, and Child’s Health Assessment.   Fees are based on your total family income.   No deadline to register.  Please call Patty Cozzolino at449-5633/6712 to set up an appointment.
